SMArtX announces expansion of TAMP (Turnkey Asset Management Platform)

SMArtX, the company specializing in unified managed accounts (UMA), has reportedly declared that it has expanded its turnkey asset management platform.

Automation has expanded by leaps and bounds since it has been a game changer in the industrial sector. Numerous companies that are profound players across this market have been consistently on the run, working to develop vital automated solutions to be used across a spate of industries. To that end, the mention of SMArtX Advisory Solutions seems vital, given that the company is a major innovator in the UMA technology space.

SMArtX Advisory Solutions is more reputed for having brought to life the SMArtX turnkey asset management platform (‘TAMP’). In what may be construed as a major follow-up, the firm has announced its intention to expand the platform with 19 new strategies. The available number of strategies in total, for September, now stands at over 890.

As per sources, the innovator’s consistent growth curve can be attributed to the success of its two main applications – the deployment of SMArtX’s tailored UMA technology through APIs and the off-the-shelf TAMP offering.

The off-the-shelf TAMP offering, for the record, is built using the company’s proprietary UMA technology. SMArtX’s UMA technology is also deployed via APIs to adhere to the mandates set by hybrid broker-dealers, RIA platforms, and large enterprises.

According to an official press release, Evan Rapoport, Chief Executive Officer, SMArtX Advisory Solutions, has been quoted to state that the company is thrilled to welcome new strategies to the platform. Speaking on SMArtX’s expanding user base driven by issues impacting legacy technology, Rapoport said that SMArtX is able to retain users as it brings award-winning solutions to RIAs and enterprise firms.

Brentview Investment Management, Faithward Capital, Kayne Anderson Rudnick Investment Management, WCM Investment Management, Cypress Capital, Spectrum Asset Management, Edge Asset Management, Principal Global Investors, and Hotchkis & Wiley were some of the investment and asset management firms that added several strategies to the firm’s platform.

The company has broadened the platform with this expansion, by adding momentum-based and market cap-based strategies. The strategies will be delivered through SMArtX’s cloud-based solution.
